The Pierre Governor basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter but fell short of extending their winning streak to five games as they fell to Rapid City Stevens 75-73 Tuesday night. The Governors struggled defending the perimeter as the Raiders connected on 12 three point baskets in the first three quarters. Trailing by 19, the Governors began to chip away at Rapid’s lead & came within striking distance at the end after scoring 35 fourth quarter points. Rapid guard Mason Archambault led all scorers with 29 points. Bevin Kaiser led the Govs with 25 points. Kaiser scored 17 of his 25 in the fourth quarter.
